How Therapy Can Help

If you are currently feeling the effects of environmental and financial stress on your sense of self and on your relationships, you are not alone. Although these periods of uncertainty and challenge can be frightening, I believe that they provide an opportunity for you to grow and seek the light in your heart that will lead you to a higher level of inner peace and understanding. Many people find that therapy assists the growth process by providing a partner in the process who offers support, encouragement, and guidance.
How We Can Work Together
I view therapy as a collaborative process and a shared journey during which I facilitate your exploration of immediate or persistent challenges. In our work together, I will strive to help you develop new language, behaviors, and thought patterns that can relieve your distress. Throughout our process I will support you in building upon your current strengths and expand them in order to maximize your sense of empowerment, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. As a Multicultural Feminist therapist, I will help you challenge the intricate web of external and internal oppression that prevents you from attaining or maintaining happiness. Together we will create a safe therapeutic relationship in which you can heal new and old wounds.
