Group for Women Survivors of Trauma/ Abuse
In a climate of safety, support, and empathy, participants will explore how trauma and abuse has shaped relationship with self and others, sense of boundaries, and overall life path. Together we will identify adaptive coping strategies developed to deal with trauma and abuse, and explore what is working and what isn’t. We will identify triggers encountered in daily life, and discuss ways to work around and through them effectively. Participants will cultivate insight into themselves, and develop skills to make healthier, safer, and more fulfilling choices.

Time: Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Start date to be announced.

Changing Your Relationship with Food: A Therapy Group for Women Struggling With More than 50 Extra Pounds
In this 12 week therapy group, members will work on changing their relationships with themselves and their relationships with food. After 12 weeks, the group will become a process group for those who wish to continue. In past groups, participants have been in a range of body sizes from 50 pounds to over 200 pounds overweight.

Time: Tuesdays, 5:00-6:30PM.
Fee: $50 per session
Women’s Incest Survivor Group for Survivors Working on Maintaining Their Sobriety
Group members will work on healing old wounds from past sexual abuse and examine their use of addiction as a way to cope in their lives and the difficulties they face in their sobriety. This group is open to women who are dealing with alcoholism, food addiction, drug addiction and other addictions.
Facilitator: Linda Weiskoff, LCSW
Time: Thursdays, 10-11:30AM. This is an on-going group with some current openings.
Fee: $50 per session
